Placed in the premium-range price segment, the Acer Spin 5 SP515-51GN-52B3 is built to perform. It has a good configuration that offers quite a good performance. Also, it has massive storage, and the battery backup is also good. The touchscreen facility assures that it can be used without the keyboard also. However, the heavyweight body and the absence of an optical drive will be the major flaw of the device.

Display and Configuration

The Acer Spin 5 SP515-51GN-52B3 (NH.GTQAA.003) comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS LED touch screen display, the laptop has the capability of producing impressive images with clarity. Apart from producing good images, the display also features a touch screen capability which works as an added advantage in using the laptop without the keyboard. The device has an Intel Core i5-8250U (8th Gen) processor coupled with an 8GB DDR4 RAM and a dedicated graphics memory. 

 

Battery and Connectivity

A 4 cell Li-ion provides sufficient power backup to the device so that you can work continuously for hours at a time. The laptop is connectable to other devices by using any of the options available with it like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, SD card reader, a headphone jack and a microphone jack that comes as standard along with the laptop.

Input Device, Camera and Storage

In terms of input devices, the laptop has a touchpad with multi-touch gesture enabled and a standard notebook keyboard. The laptop has a webcam placed just on the top of the display which aids in making video calls. It is equipped with a 1TB SATA HDD memory having a hard drive rotation speed of 5,400 RPM.
