Verdict
Despite being a budget friendly tablet, the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 WiFi 16GB is solid on the outside and doesn't carry a lot of weight. The disappointing things are the non replaceable battery and the absence of external memory. Overall it is a nice choice for daily computing needs.
Smart and budget friendly
The Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 WiFi 16GB features a 7-inch IPS LCD multi-touch display with a WXGA resolution of 800 x 1,280 pixels and a pixel density off 216 ppi which may not look excellent but pretty sharp especially while browsing the internet or reading books. And the Corning Gorilla Glass cover on the top protects it against scratches.

Doing the duty on the inside is a 1.5GHz quad-core processor assisted by 1GB RAM. It brings all the latest features and apps from Android with the Android v4.4 KitKat OS.
 
The Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 WiFi 16GB exhibits a 2MP rear camera which can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps. Enjoy video calls with a VGA camera on the front. The internal storage capacity is 16GB which is non expandable.
 
It is fuelled by a sealed battery and can be connected through Bluetooth with A2DP, Wi-Fi, USB port and Mobile Hotspot.
