It is one of the best 7 inch tablets for a while now and as the new Nexus 7 isnt available in India yet, it continues to be one. The hardware is powerful and you get the vanilla android experience. The prices have been slashed just a while ago and that makes it a great buy.
Google Smart Tablet
This impressive Google tablet made by Asus has been around for a while now and has sold in good number worldwide. The official launch of Nexus 7 was a bit delayed but that doesnt prevent it from being a great deal. Right after the launch of New Nexus 7 in the international market, this tablet was available with amazing discounts in India. It makes a great device for reading and you would love to play games on its large screen. Being a nexus, you get the android version updates as soon as they are released. Even if you get bored of the stock operating system, there are lots of custom ROMs for this tablet.

The device has got a good 7 inch IPS LCD display which is crisp and has excellent colour replication. The pixel density is as good as many mid range smartphones and you can hardly spot any pixels. The processor and chipset are powerful and apart from the usual four cores, it has got another one to manage the usage of these four. There is also another version available with 16 GB of onboard storage.

It has got a 1.2 megapixel camera which can record semi HD videos too. The camera is good enough for the purpose it has been put there. The quality of video you get in video calls is pretty good.

The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC and micro USB 2.0.
