The new iPad does not really change much over the previous generation iPad but it has got its fair amount of changes. The new connector might look and feel better but the accessories will cost more for a while. Overall it is a decent performer and you would not have anything to complain about.
Just as stunning, twice as fast
This new version of iPad came out very soon after the iPad 3 came out. The display on the device is same as the previous version of iPad and looks stunning. The differences include better camera for making your face time calls and a better processor which gives it the tagline twice as fast. It supports micro USB SIM cards and can be used on 4G networks too.
The iPad 4 measures 241.2 x 185.7 x 9.4 mm and is heavy weighing 662 gms. It has a 9.7 inch display which has got a pretty good colour replication and contrast levels. There are a large number of storage options available varying from 16 GB to 128 GB.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0, and USB 2.0. The connectivity port on this iPad has been switched from the large connector to the new 8 pin connector as seen on the latest iPhone.
