The Archos 50 Graphite is a superb choice for photographers who love to capture quality images all the time. The tablet supports OTG cable and the fingerprint sensor is also quick to respond. However, a large screen size does require large amount of battery capacity which indeed seems to be a major drawback point in this gadget.
Display and Configuration
The Archos 50 Graphite comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD HD (720 x 1,280 pixels) display and features a fingerprint sensor at the back. Driving the system, is a 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex A53 processor aided by 1GB of RAM and seated upon MediaTek MT6737 chipset. The tab boots on Android v7.0 (Nougat) operating system and weighs 160 grams.
Battery and Connectivity
The tablet derives its energy from a 2,400mAh li-ion battery which keeps the show running for long hours. On the networking front, the device offers a wide range of options such as dual SIM, 4G (doesn't support Indian bands), 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS with A-GPS and USB Type-C(doesn't support micro-USB).
Camera and Storage
For photography and videography purposes, the gadget is armed with dual cameras at the back - 13Mp + 2MP which captures nice images and records full HD 1,080p videos. For selfie lovers, there is a 5MP snapper present which results pretty good picture quality. The user can save files in the 16GB internal memory and also make use of any microSD card (upto 128GB) or OTG cable for more storage needs.
