Overall: The provider is scamming. When I purchase a unit I do not expect to get a unit with other's photographs on it OR to have admin password which is not provided. This unit is the one that is placed on display in retail store or worse a second ...

Verdict
The Asus FX553VD-DM483 is one of the best-configured laptops in this price range. It has all the elements which one can desire in an expensive budget. The performance and the battery backup are very good. The picture quality is brilliant and sharp due to the presence of dedicated GPU. In short, the laptop is  worthy and leaves behind no complains to ignore it.

Display and Configuration

The Asus FX553VD-DM483 has a 15.6-inch Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) LED backlight display and runs on Windows 10 operating system (64-bit). Inside, there is a 2.8GHz Intel core i7-7700HQ processor aided by 8GB of DDR4 RAM for driving the system. The user can increase the RAM capacity up to 16GB for flawless performance. A 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card is also present which results in clear sharp display while playing games. The laptop weighs 2.5Kg and is available in black colored body.

Connectivity, Input Devices, and Camera 

On the connectivity ground, the  Asus FX553VD-DM483 has options say a Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.0, two USB 3.0 slots, one USB 2.0 slot, an SD card reader, a headphone jack, and a microphone jack. In order to input data into the system, there are two common devices present - a touchpad with multi-touch gesture support and a chicklet keyboard with isolated num key. For video calling and recording purposes, the laptop is armed with a webcam above the bezel. It captures good quality videos at a smooth frame rate.
