The Asus ROG Strix SCAR II GL704GV-DS74 Laptop is a complete device in true it has every set of features that you would expect in a device carrying such price tag. It is needless to mention that the device has a strong processing front which provides excellent performance. Other features like storage and battery are at par with the price of the device and the keep the premium tag intact. There are a couple of drawbacks with this device which pertains the absence of fingerprint scanner and optical drive.    
Display and Performance

The Asus ROG Strix SCAR II GL704GV-DS74 Laptop features a  17.3 inch Full HD LED display which comes with a screen resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The Full HD display setup takes the viewing experience to an all new level.

The performance of the device is backed by an Intel Core i7-8750H (8th gen) processor seated upon a powerful chipset Intel HM370 express chipset. The processor of the device is coupled with the 16GB DDR4 RAM that takes care of the multitasking needs. 

Storage, Battery, and Connectivity

The storage section of the device consists of a 512 SSD storage capacity which is quite exemplary and goes beyond mention that it takes care of all the storage requirements.

The battery aspect of the device is equipped with the 4 cell Li-Ion battery which provides some serious battery backup. The connectivity option that comes with this device includes follows the standard template of 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth v 5.0

Camera and Input devices

There is nothing new as such in the camera setup as it has the generic front webcam which comes in quite handy for video calling. Again as seen in the camera set up, there is nothing new in the input device section as it comes with standard notebook keyboard and it has the steel series per key RGB keyboard with the anti-ghost key and silver lining.
