Asus X200MA-KX395B Laptop (Pentium Quad Core 4th Gen/2 GB/500 GB/Windows 8 1)

Handy and portable. Screen quality, general build quality, battery life are better than expected of a laptop at this price point. Not much of heating issue.

Its a really great laptop for anybody, the build quality is great and laptop itself is very portable and delivers whatever you need.nnFirstly i must say, the size is literally perfect as its not too big and not too small, just perfectly able to accommodate your hands while typing and screen too much better quality than bigger siblings as PPI is higher, and enough brightness to be able to read under direct sunlight, its glossy but it'll managennthe connectivity options will impress everyone, it has everything you'll ever need, save for the CD drive... i didn't missed it quite frankly...nn The keyboard is great as it can accommodate your hands very well with out any issues and its a sturdy well built one too...nnthe ram is not expandable though but i don't see the need to upgrade anyway...nnbattery back up is good, as of now i'm getting anywhere from 3 to 5 hrs depending on the usage, although i would've liked to have an option to upgrade... same with the ramnnIt came with win 8.1 which is fast and quick which the machine handles it very wellnnmy only issue is with the textured surface, it is good for portability as it provides very good grip and handling but i would've liked to see a plain smooth matte black surface...nnnit's very silent, you can barely hear any sound, but that is also its weakness as sometimes you can hear the HDD being accessed,,, a slight creeking sound will be heard, it's that silent... although i'm planning to upgrade to SSD, which will eliminate all sounds and reduce power consumption and tempnndoesn't get too hot as long as you don't block the air ventsnncam clarity is average, only VGA cam not HDnnsound is okay, not the selling point for the laptop, its loud but not of amazing quality, actually its very loud for such a small laptopnnits very lightweight, you can barely feel the 1.2 Kg weight along the body of the laptop, also its very thin compared to previous gen netbooks, not as thin as mac book but just one inch thick give or take....nnnFinally, Its a great laptop, the pentium handles tasks very well and its well tuned for low power consumption.... although this lap costs 20K which is slightly expensive considering you can get i3 for 23K nnso if you could afford the extra bucks then surely go for i3, this is a great lap but if you could afford then why not....
