The  Asus VivoBook 14 X412FA Ultrabook has both the display and performance aspect intact. If you are looking for a device on a pure performance basis, then you can go for this device. But having said that, there are a few essential things that you need to keep in mind while going for this device, firstly, the storage section of the device is quite average and secondly, the battery setup of the device is not that good. So you need to make the choice accordingly. 
Display and Performance

The Asus VivoBook 14 X412FA Ultrabook comes with a 14 inch Full HD LED display with an additional property of anti-glare backlit IPS display. The screen resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels which reflects the quality of display quite precisely. 

The performance of the device is backed by an Intel-Core i3-8145U 8th gen processor which operates with the clock speed of 2.1GHz. The graphics front of the device is taken care of by the presence of Intel UHD 620 graphics processor.  The presence of 4GB RAM which has an operating speed 2,400 MHz takes care of the multitasking needs. 

Storage, Battery, and Connectivity

For storage purpose, the device comes with 128GB SSD storage capacity which is quite below par when we consider the price of the device.

The battery aspect of this device is equipped with the 2 -cell Li-ion battery which again provides a decent enough battery backup and certainly a better battery setup would have served the device quite well. 

Camera and Input devices

Right at the tip of the screen, this device has a front webcam which comes in handy for video calling. The input device option that comes with it includes a touchpad with multitouch gesture support and standard notebook keyboard.
