The ASUS X53E-SX1556D poses a 15.6-inch HD LED backlit Glare display which offers greater amount of brightness and a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It is wrapped in a completely white coloured outfit which has a thickness of 34.9mm and may pose problems in terms of portability.

For driving its processes, the ASUS X53E-SX1556D is loaded with a 1.6GHz Intel Celeron dual-core B815 processor based on HM65 Express chipset. It is paired with a 2GB DDR3 RAM which operates at 1,333MHz and is further expandable up to 8GB via two DIMM slots. Rich videos and games are managed by the integrated Intel HD 3000 GPU. It is devoid of any user friendly OS.
Camera, Storage and Multimedia
The ASUS X53E-SX1556D has been spotted with a 0.3MP webcam embedded in the bezel above the display. It is equipped with a 2.5” SATA hard disk of 320GB which is useful in storing numerous files but may turn out to be insufficient after a certain period of time.
