The ASUS X53U-VX053D sports a 15.6-inch HD LED backlit Glare display which offers a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels and poses increased amount of brightness that can strain your eyes. The outfit looks extremely unique in the mocha brown colour but disappoints with a thickness of 34.9mm.

Processor and Platform

Under the hood of the ASUS X53U-VX053D, you can find a 1GHz AMD Brazos dual-core C60 processor working in combination with a 2GB DDR3 RAM functioning at 1,066MHz. It also has two user accessible DIMM ports allowing you to increase the RAM's capacity up to 8GB. The 512MB ATI HD 6250 graphics unit is capable of handling fairly rich games and movies without posing much hassle. It is devoid of any preloaded OS which is justified by its price.
