The Asus X540SA-XX018T laptop review - With this Asus model, it seems that the company has focussed on chocolate colour body with Windows OS in a mid ranged budget. The battery backup is pretty good and one can expand the RAM for better performance. However, a 1TB hard disk or 1GB dedicated GPU was expected in this price tag.
Stylish, yet powerful
Display and Configuration

The Asus X540SA-XX018T laptop flaunts a 15.6-inch HD LED display and is light in weight, weighing only 1.9Kg. It has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels, measures 381 x 251 x 25.4mm and is available in chocolate black coloured body. Under the hood, there is a 1.6GHz Intel Pentium quad-core N3700 processor aided by 8GB of DDR3 RAM which can be further expanded upto 8GB, using two DIMM slots. The laptop boots on Windows 10 operating system sailing upon 64-bit architecture. The Asus X540SA-XX018T laptop price in India seems little higher as 1GB dedicated graphics card was expected in this budget.

Camera and Connectivity

For video calling and picture clicking, the device sports a webcam above the bezel. One can also record voice since there is an inbuilt microphone (ASUS sonicmaster technology, ICE sound support) present.
