Overall: Its been abou 8 month since I have bought this product and m very satisfied with it till now... I added a 8 gb extra ram and played lots of games including COD AW , ghost black ops far cry 3 batman arkham begins etc and works perfectly in other field...

Display and design

The all new Asus X555LA-XX688D Laptop comes equipped with a 15.6-inch LED Backlit Widescreen Display with a maximum resolution of 1366 x 768 Pixels and provides brighter light and higher contrast ratios without eating up a lot of battery life.

The laptop weighs 2.3 Kg and comes draped in a sleek 25.8 mm black glossy outfit. The lightweight slim design makes it very easy for users to use it on the go. Beneath the display the device also houses a Chiclet Keyboard, Touchpad with Multi-touch Gesture support and a Super Multi with Double Layer.

CPU and Platform

At the core of the device, the performance is taken care of by a Intel Core i5-5200U 5th generation processor clocked at the speed of 2.2GHz. To maintain a well balanced optimized performance the CPU is also strengthened with a 4 GB DDR3 RAM in a 1 x 4 Byte memory layout. Its capacity can be further increased up to 8GB via the 2 unused DIMM slots. The integrated Intel HD 5500 graphics processor gives a decent performance as far as gaming, video and photo editing sessions are concerned. The laptop runs on 64-bit DOS operating system.

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

The Asus X555LA-XX688D Laptop is armed with a webcam on the top coupled with an analog microphone to provide a crystal clear video calling experience. The laptop houses a mammoth 1 TB SATA hard disk with a speed of 5400 RPM. 

The dual in-built stereo speakers takes entertainment to a higher pedestal as it is based on the SonicMaster technology and renders a studio quality audio output.
