Good choice
19 Nov 2017 By Piyush Khare On flipkart.com

Hello All, I was going through all the reviews on the review page of this product and am surprised to see hell lot of negative reviews.... It seems that some of the competitors have shelled out huge amt to defame the product. Nevertheless I am using this phone from last three days and below are my pointers 1. Performance is of top notch quality 2. Screen is good 3. Battery is superb 4. Keys are placed beautifully and allows user to minimise fat finger errors 5. Audio out put while playing music is ok 6. Video recording is ok 7. Camera is good in day light bt in low light conditions it's not up to the mark 8. No heating issues as such..people complaining here abt heating issues are the ones who have always used China phones(reminding again - this is an Indian product ) or don't understand the concept of heating 9. I have used cellphones of different manufacturers ( Moto, Lenovo, Mi N MANY MORE), however this is a step ahead of those 10. bOkeh effect is very good 11. Camera as said earlier - could have been better 12. Software is stock one 13. Premium look To the ones who are posting negative reviews here should understand that the heating issue could be coz of less network coverage or any setting issue as well. Abt the camera's negative reviews - this is not a phone which has top notch camera - hence don't expect this to be a DSLR one not should you expect this to compete Samsung or any MI phone for that matter - & the simple reason behind this is that that the Phone is conceptualised and developed in India and that involve more cost than China n any other country for that matter FK is doing great with On time delivery and other service things. When MI started it's operations in India 2014 and the cellphones it sold at that time we're good on papers bt were way too low on standard day to day ops, they came up with innovations in a gradual manner hence expect the same with this brand as well. This phone is not bad on papers and even on day to day ops, however there is always an opportunity for improvisation 2nd review after using for almost a week now {25th Nov} I would like to say to negative reviewers - "Go Get A Life Man". People don't have the guts to digest an Indian brand doing good as they are habitual of cheap other manufacturers phones. Battery works like a charm on this phone. No heating issues felt till now. Call quality is perfect, no other issues as such. Not sure what extraordinary people want from this device. No lagging on software front. If the camera was a bit more good, would have given 5 stars for sure Thanks FK for the lovely product

Better than what I've expected. The battery life is better then mi a1 and it also supports quick charge. In hand feel is verrry good. And the camera yes the main part. Actually it is not that bad what it is shown on the reviews. Yes the a1's camera is best in its price range but it is also not too behind from a1. Thats all ☺️☺️

    Capture Plus!
A slightly smaller battery, but QuickCharge (1hr 15 mins to 90%) is there which compensates for the slightly smaller size.
MUCH better camera! Mi already is reputed for making the worst cameras of the industry, how will it compete to this dual camera phone with 4K ability and Super Night mode taking beautiful pictures even in lota of darkness.

    Billion Capture Plus easily.
This comes with a decent sized battery, a Power-Efficient Processor with a decent GPU and supports Quick Charge.
The Redmi 5 has the advantage of only the battery and there is a high probability that it doesn't have Quick Charge (like most Mi phones) but it has a slightly more powerful CPU.
The Capture has a better Camera in my opinion not because of Dual Cameras but because of the week known fact that Mi makes the worst cameras in the smartphone industry.
Screens are both FHD and IPS LCD, so size is based on your wish.
The Capture also comes with TronX support which is Smartron's Cloud platform offering infinite Cloud Storage and also assures you 2 OS Updates. I use the srt.phome and despite having similar specs on paper as compared to the Redmi Note 4, this is just much more enjoyable. So I am here with experience of it. TronX also means you will get frequent OS Updates, at least Smartron devices do on a Monthly basis, resolving issues and adding lovely features.
Redmi 5 is clearly a bummer with the annoying MIUI on it, limiting your freedom to customize and lot more. Mi also doesn't promise software support.
So the Capture is a clear winner here. Apart from all of this, the Capture is completely Designed and Made in India unlike the Redmi which is Chinese.

I leave the Display choice to you in the first place, if you fancy all that Infinity Display Stuff or whatever your reasons might be.
The Billion Capture Plus has a weaker processor, but a more consistent one than the Honor 7X, Honor 7X's benchmark scores feel like 2 phones, of 5,000 and another like a flagship. It has scores varying between 43,000 and 76,000. The Capture Plus consistently scores around 65,000.
Capture Plus comes with assured upgrade the next Android Version and runs pure Android, giving you more freedom to customize (if you want) while the Custom Laggy UI on the 7X is a big let down for the powerful CPU it boasts, making the phone lag more than the Capture Plus even on normal use.
Camera on the Capture Plus has a better aperture and it also boasts 60fps Selfie Slo-Mo which is a rare feature, it also gets greatly enhanced by downloading Google Camera from APKMirror (as per my experience). I believe that the 7X also has a similar camera performance or maybe even better because Honor has been making some really great media consumption techniques and devices recently.
Battery life, the Capture Plus takes lead every way. Bigger battery, Low-Power Consumption UI, superior battery saving techniques and Quick Charge, you'll have no complains with the Capture Plus in this aspect.
Storage and RAM, if you take the 64 GB Version of Capture Plus, are on par and hold no special advantage
