Verdict
The Datawind Ubislate 3G7Z comes with a decent configuration considering its price. The rear camera is also acceptable and is okay for normal photography. The support for voice calling makes it a great choice. The battery backup could have been a lot better though. For those who prefer a large display for playing normal games, reading ebooks and surfing the internet, this low budget tablet could be a good choice.
Decent budget tablet
The Datawind Ubislate 3G7Z flaunts a 7-inch capacitive LCD display with a screen resolution of 600 x 1,024 pixels which results in a pixel density of 170ppi. Android Kitkat runs as the Operating System in the device. It is quite thick at 11.4mm as well as heavy with a weight of 290grams.

A basic Cortex A7 1.2GHz dual-core processor tagged with Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM runs all the major  processes. The device ships with only 8GB of ROM to store important data which thankfully can be expanded up to 32GB by using SD cards. Photography needs are taken care of by the 3MP main camera. A VGA front camera has also been added in the front which does the job of video calling.

A 2,750mAh li-po non-removable battery supplies the needed current to the Datawind Ubislate and makes sure it runs for decent amount of time on a single charge. On the connectivity front it is powered by the usual set of connectivity options like 3G, Bluetooth, GPU, and USB connectivity. You can even make calls by using this tablet as it supports voice calling feature
