The Datawind UbiSlate 7DC Star is an affordable device that has some basic features. Though several tables miss out the voice calling feature, this device comes with it. The processor is decent that ensures that any kind of simple tasks can be done in this device. However, a higher capacity of RAM or a better battery would have made it a perfect option.

Display and Storage

Datawind UbiSlate 7DC Star features a 7-inch TFT display, which has a screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It translates to an average pixel density of 133 PPI. The tab has an inbuilt storage of 4GB, which is not enough. But one can expand the storage up to 32GB by using a memory card.
 
Performance

The Datawind UbiSlate 7DC Star comes with a Cortex A7 dual-core processor, which has an operating speed of 1.3GHz manages the overall performance of the system. It is further aided by a 512MB RAM that tackles the multitasking. The combination is seated on a MediaTek MT8312. In addition, a Mali-400 MP2 takes care of the graphical requirements of the system.

Connectivity and Battery

The Datawind UbiSlate 7DC Star a few connectivity options including 2G network support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB. As for the battery, the device has a 3,000mAh Li-ion unit. However, it is not enough to provide the backup for a whole day long.
