Verdict
Dell knows what it takes to create a great laptop, and it shows this expertise by giving the 3521 features like a great display, sufficient storage, awesome multimedia options, good battery and the latest Windows OS. One would have hoped that Dell would keep in mind the different colour preferences of people, but this is a minor complaint. All in all, the device is a great performer in this price segment.

Design and Display

Dell's latest offering comes in a sleek black casing that adds the right amount of style to the workplace, while being light and easy to use. For easy input, the device has been provided with a standard keyboard and touchpad. A 15.6 inches HD (1366 x 768 pixels resolution) LED display with TrueLife technology ensures that one gets the very best of HD visuals on this device.

Processor and OS

Ensuring adequate processing power is a 1.6GHz Intel Pentium 2nd Gen processor (2117U variant). Paired with 2GB of RAM, it provides excellent processing speeds even under moderate workloads. For gamers, the device comes loaded with the Intel HD GPU. Dell has provided this device with the latest Windows 8, thus ensuring that the latest programs can run smoothly on this device.

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

The device has been provided with a 1.0MP webcam which allows one to keep in touch with loved ones via video chat, Skype, etc. Storage is sufficient at 500GB.
