The Dell Inspiron 15 3537 is a subtly designed gadget which has sufficient power to handle both official needs and entertainment quite well. A large HD display complemented by rich graphics and quality speakers make it good for entertainment.

Good for all purposes

Display and Design

 

The Dell Inspiron 15 3537 poses a 15.6-inch HD LED backlit display which has the standard resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels but provides realistic and sharper images and videos thanks to its True Life feature. The black colored casing looks good to hold and has sufficient cooling vents but the sole input devices are the standard keyboard and touchpad.

 

Processor and Platform

 

On the inside, the notebook comes loaded with an Intel Core i5 4200U from the 4th generation clocked at 1.6GHz and paired with HM86 Express chipset. A DDR3 RAM of 6GB operating at 1600MHz and expandable up to 8GB guarantees seamless multitasking experience. Rich and responsive graphics needs are handled easily by the 2GB AMD Radeon HD 8670M graphics card. It runs on Windows 8 OS of 64 bit architecture.

 

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

 

The notebook features a 1MP webcam above the display panel and enables modest video calling experience. The Dell Inspiron 15 3537 offers ample space for storing all kinds of files and folders with a SATA HDD of 1TB. The stereo speakers function on Waves MaxxAudio 4 and provide truer and richer sounds which add a new dimension to games and videos.

 

Battery and Connectivity

 

The notebook promises to offer an uninterrupted service for up to 3 hours on single charge with the 6 cell Li-ion battery. It can be connected using features like Ethernet, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, digital media reader, HDMI out, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 2 USB 3.0 slots and Bluetooth v4.0.
