The Dell Inspiron 15 3542 Netbook laptop is a nice laptop which comes with a lot of strong features. The strong processor delivers a quality performance while running multiple tasks. The battery backup is also good for daily use. However, a dedicated GPU would have made it a perfect option to go for around this price range.

Display, Body and Configuration

The Dell Inspiron 15 3542 Netbook laptop flaunts a 15.6-inch HD (1,366 x 768 pixels) LED-backlit display to offer a standard viewing experience. It comes in a well designed shiny black colored body. The laptop is driven by a 1.7GHz Intel Core i3-4005U (4th Gen) processor, assisted by a 4GB DDR3 RAM. An onboard Intel HD 4400 Graphics processor results in good picture display and enables you to play low-end games even. 

Camera, Battery and Input Devices

Like other laptops, the Dell Inspiron 15 3542 Netbook laptop features a webcam and an inbuilt microphone for video calling/recording needs. The laptop features a 4 cell Li-ion battery, which offers a good battery life and claims to keep the entertainment running for long hours. Input devices include a touchpad with multi-touch gestures support and a Standard Notebook Keyboard.
