I have ordered Dell 5559 with Windows 10 Home Genuine, At a rate of Rs.35,000. The Seller is a fraud who loaded Windows 10 pro pirated version in the Dell 5559 model which is having only Rs.30,000 and sold at the same product at the rate of Rs.35,000. I have returned the product and the replacement came was also the same type pirated one. While cross checking with Dell support, they confirmed that they shipped this product with Linux only. Now I am going to return the product again and availing refund. Dell is a top brand & Flipkart service is better but the particular seller is a fraud. Please cross check while purchasing Laptop's with Genuine Windows. 1) Mostly Companies provide only Home version of OS along with average price ranging laptops. May be High end Laptops come with Pro version. So if your product description contains Windows Home Genuine , Cross check whether it is Home or Pro Version, If it is a Pro version then it may be pirated one. 2) Call the Support (Dell/HP/Acer etc) and cross check the details whether they provided OS with the product or not. 3) Check the price tag on the cartoon box whether it is there or removed.In my case it is removed even in the replaced one also. 4) Check for Recovery partitions, Dell/HP applications etc ,If these are not available then the OS is not included by the Company.
