Dell Vostro 2420 Laptop (Core i5 3rd Gen/4 GB/500 GB/Windows 8)

I had received the product six months backs. Other features are functioning properly. Recently I could not locate WiFi facility in this PC, which was totally unacceptable. Today you cannot expect a PC without a WiFi and that too at a cost of nearly 38k. The absence of WiFi reduces the utility of this product by 40%. Latter the problem got rectified when I contacted Dell, Now I am satisfied with the product. Wi-Fi has been enabled in this product. I am satisfied with the performance of this product. Worth purchasing.

After lot of research I narrowed on Dell. I've used Toshiba, HP and Dell, and undoubtedly Dell has been my favorite as it is reliable. Toshiba is another favorite, but not sure how is the service in Mumbai. With HP I faced 'freeze' problems so was my last option. Now lets review this laptop.nnPros:n1. With i5 3230m released in Jan 2013 and 4 GB RAM its a extremely fast machinen2. Weight is just 2.2 Kg so feels light to carry around. I had a Dell Inspiron 6400 before this which was almost 3 Kg. So good relief.n3. All regularly used features like DVD RW, USB 2.0, SD card, HDMI, etc present. So very usable product!n4. The price is really low (got it @ Rs 36500). Similar Sony Vaio product E14125 costs Rs 37,000 & that too has only i3 3110m processor.n5. Anti Glare so you can work for longer hours without much eye strain.nnCons:n1. Display quality is not so good. My earlier Dell Inspiron had exceptional display quality!n2. The frame around the screen seems to be low quality. Maybe its not low quality and they just used a lighter material, but it gives of feel of being low quality.n3. USB 3.0 port missing. But this is a very minor thing.nGiving it 4 stars bcoz of display quality.nnBottomline: If you want a laptop for "Work" purpose, this laptop will give you Great performance.
