Nice tab. Doesn't take much time to start. Sleek design, lightweight. nnCamera-wise not much of a deal, but who clicks on a tab? Front camera, for the selfies, is also not very good.nnBut, reading ebooks on the tab is a good experience. The flipkart ebook store has preloaded titles and some of them are really good titles. It also has the option of reading aloud.nnWell worth a buy.
I have been using this tab for over a week now. I am usually a Moderate usage guy but as I Broke my Mi3 Screen, I was forced to use this tab on a heavy roll for all intents and purpose. Here are the Pros for this Tab 1. Decent Build Quality: Though I am not a fan of the design of the Tab, the materials used in this tab and its weight gives this Tab a substantial feel. 2. Screen Crisp enough for media Consumption: Being at the lower end of PPI count, we should not expect this tab to deliver an outstanding Reading experience, but being an IPS panel, the screen does a good job of delivering fantastic viewing angels, Sharp Video Playback and Decent image output. 3. Acceptable Battery Life: With my regular usage, which kind of gets on the heavy side during weekends, this tab was able to last for around 6 hrs. This was when I was continuously using the tab for media playback and gaming. On a medium usage during the weekdays, I was able to squeez a good 2 days out of this tab. 4. Expandable Storage: Y do we buy tabs at this price point? Its for media consumption. and having an expandable storage via micro SD card helps squeez in more of those 1080p videos and HD music in this tab. 5. Sound Magic ES 18: Yes, this comes free with this tab and Yes, its an amazing ear plug. Delivers good bass and crisp audio with adequate volume. Just make sure you are using Poweramp with Direct Volume Control Turned off for best results. 6. Processing and Graphic Package: This device contains specs adequate enough to run a desktop grade OS such as windows on it. The device runs smooth and games performs well with only occassional lags and stutters when used for a long duration continuously or when multitasking to the extremes. 7. Fast Charging: The Charger take only about 90 minutes to accelarate the battery level from 0 to 100. Cons 1: Feels Heavy: at 365 g, u surely cannot use this device for a log time while lying on ur bed facing up. 2. Inconsistent UI: The UI feels old and unfinished. Notification Drawer and Quick Access Panel feels like they cud utilize the extra real estate of this Tab. 3. No Kitkat Yet 4. Reflective Screen which also is a fingerprint magnet. I will recommend keeping a Microfiber always handy for this device. 5. Crappiest Camera. Dose not perform good for either snaps (Not that u wud want to take one with a Tab) or for Video Calls. Image looks distorted and Video filled with noise. Overall, a nice buy if ur Primary Focus is Media Consumption and Light Internet surfing (UC Browser HD Recommended)
