Verdict
Being first tablet from an Indian e-commerce company, the Flipkart Pro XT712 certainly faces a tough competition from mainstream products. Although at first glance it doesn't seem to have any distinct feature which can make it stand out of the crowd, you start loving it only when you start using it. It's encased in lightweight and sturdy metallic body which is comfortable to hold for a long time. The configuration delivers a decent processing performance, and the camera also produces decent pictures. Front camera is good for video chatting only. Although the tablet looks a bit overpriced, the online retailers tries to make it up by offering a bundle of freebies.
Powerful and sleek
Display, design and configuration

The Digiflip Pro XT712 sports a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and gets power from a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core Cortex A7 processor, accompanied by 1GB of DDR3 RAM. The tablet comes encased in a sturdy metallic body, weighs 285 grams and measures a thickness of 9.2mm. It comes in both black and white colours.

Storage and camera

The Digiflip Pro XT712 houses 16GB of internal storage, which is further expandable by 32GB via the microSD card slot. For photography, it has a 5-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash, and an option to record full HD videos. The tablet also holds a 2MP front shooter for video calling. 

Connectivity and battery

The Digiflip Pro XT712 is a dual-SIM tablet with 3G capabilities. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS etc. It is fuelled by a 3,000mAH battery, which claims to deliver a talk time of 8 hours on 2G. Flipkart is also offering a bundle of freebies with the tablet.
