The Doogee X5 Max comes with a stylish body and has a lot of strong elements considering the price.The battery backup and the addition of the fingerprint scanner make it high on its value. However, a higher RAM and better camera would have made a big difference to the overall value of the smartphone.

The Doogee X5 Max comes with a 5-inch screen and has a pixel density of 402 ppi. The smartphone features a IPS LCD HD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels. One can secure the smartphone by recording his/her fingerprint in the fingerprint sensor. The handset is available in two colour options which include black and white.

The Doogee X5 Max is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and is seated on a chipset of MediaTek MT6580. This, along with the paired 1GB RAM makes way for all the basic multitasking. A graphical processing unit of Mali-400 MP2 works on the hosting graphical apps like games and video players. The smartphone boots on Android v6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box.
Storage and Battery
The Doogee X5 Max houses an 8GB of inbuilt storage which is upgradable by inserting a maximum of a 32GB memory card into the dedicated slot. Acting as a fuel provider to the smartphone, there is a 4,000mAh Li-Po battery which offers around 20 hours of talk time and 20 days of standby time, both on 2G.
Camera and Connectivity
On the optical front, the Doogee X5 Max is stacked with a primary camera of 5MP resolution with autofocus. Another 5MP front-facing lens is present for clicking basic selfies.
