TRIVIA

Trivia

Ricardo, the central character, is not a transgender as announced by the director in the plot text, but either a crossdresser or a drag queen. Most of Portuguese people lack information about the terminologies related to gender and diversity in general, since is a highly LGBTQ+phobic society. Even the word "transvestite" in Portugal is used only in a pejorative way, not being polite to call anyone that way. And mixing concepts as crossdresser, drag queen and transgender is really a common error in the country.
