Accidental Farmer and Co is a comedy drama series that tells the story of Chellakannu, a good-for-nothing man who inherits eight acres of land and an old suitcase filled with cash from his grandfather. Chella wants to move to Finland with his love interest, Sheela, but he has to pay a debt of Rs 20 lakhs first. The series has an ensemble cast that includes Ramya Pandian as Sheela, Vinodhini as Kamalakka, Chutti Aravind as Moorthy, and Badava Gopi as the postman. While the series entertains, it lacks comedy, and the narration has its fair share of hiccups. Even the characters in the series are not that well written and could have had much more substance to them. One of them, though, especially Sevala, is quite interesting and keeps you hooked onto whatever the director has to offer. Other than that, it is a typical masala entertainer. Overall, Accidental Farmer and Co is a decently engaging series meant for sheer entertainment, so don't go in expecting a strong message or deep plot.
