Chizuko is a normal otaku girl in Niigata Prefecture. She’s obsessed with Berry Blossom, a magical heroine who protects the city. But the battles with her inept nemesis, Chroma, have become so lackluster that they’re not even worth watching. Based on a shoujo comedy manga series written and illustrated by Yone Sawata. It was serialized in Shueisha's Shoujo manga magazine Ribon from February 2017 to December 2022, with its chapters collected in five tankobon volumes. Shueisha shipped the fifth volume in January 2023.
Beginning from episode 2, each episode was streamed one week in advance of the TV broadcast from October 2, 2024, on FOD.
