TRIVIA

Trivia

Director Casey Tebo said he had "no ending to the film" until he was watching interview footage of Japanese super-fan Nobu Tanaka, who's "closing words about why the Japanese people love Aerosmith so much, summed up the band so beautifully I couldn't hold back my eyes from tearing up."

Director 'Casey Patrick Tebo' put the film together in his spare time, with no members in Aerosmith aware of what he was doing. He flew to Los Angeles while the band was recording their new record, and showed Joe Perry and Steven Tyler the film, all the while they had no idea what they were going to see. Of this screening Tebo says "Joe is not a man of many words, but when the lights came up, he walked across the theatre, hugged me, simply saying "that, was f*ckin amazing".

Two days before they left for Japan, Aerosmith almost cancelled the tour due to fears of radiation exposure.

Director Casey Patrick Tebo was in Japan with Aerosmith to direct the live shows, and had no intention of making a concert film.

Aerosmith's 1st concert film since 2003's You Gotta Move.
