Steven Segal only appears in the movie for 24 minutes, the rest of the scenes were from his body/stunt double, who appears in the majority of the movie.
The vampires in the film greatly resemble zombies, because the original screenplay had them as zombies. Steven Seagal demanded the script be changed to vampires though because he hates zombies.
Steven Seagal almost never uses his trademark aikido fighting style in this movie. Throughout most of the movie he uses either a sword or guns during the action scenes. He only uses aikido during the final fight scene when his sword breaks.
WILHELM SCREAM: Very faintly heard when Tao (Steven Seagal) throws a vampire through a wall near the end of the film.
