Actor Eric Mark was supposed to have a more substantial role in the film, but the day before he was supposed to start shooting his scenes, his father passed away unexpectedly in Toronto. In post production, he voiced the small but crucial role of the Drone Pilot, who has the first line in the film.
In an early draft of the screenplay for "Agent," there is a scene in which one character threatens to feed another to a type of pig called a "slothhurst," which swallows it prey whole and digests it over the course of a thousand years. When asked if a slothhurst is a "pig"... or a "space pig," actor/director/producer/writer Derek Ting gleefully responded, "a space pig!" His interlocutors talked him out of using the device in the film. Derek says not including the slothhurst is one of the great regrets of his life.
