The first and third short films on the VHS tape are actually old films made by the director, Damien Leone, years earlier. The first one is The 9th Circle (2008) and the third is Terrifier (2011). The second short was made for this film.
Art the Clown would later appear in his own feature length film named "Terrifier" which was released in 2016.

The alien in the second story was originally going to be a puppet, but when the puppet didn't work, it was replaced by a man in a suit instead.
The second story was filmed at an abandoned house.
