The filmmakers posted internet adverts, put calls out through the ATP mailing list and trawled YouTube looking for footage of ATP experiences captured by fans on mobiles, super 8, digital camera, HV and DV. In total Warp received 600 hours of footage.
Warp received 600 hours of footage for the film. They attribute this to the fact that festival-goers were able to lock camcorders and cameras away in their chalet accommodation.
Contributor turned cinematographer Vincent Moon became involved with the film by sending an amateur recording of his first ATP weekend into Warp. Warp saw his footage and contacted him immediately, inviting him to come back to future festivals. Since then, Vincent has only missed two ATP events and has become highly acclaimed for his Take Away Shows, shooting bands performing tracks in unusual locations.
'Johnathan Caouette' refused credit as a director saying, "...with the magnitude of all the people that contributed from shooting to editing, I felt like I couldn't possibly take full directors credit".
There are 200 credited contributors to the film.
