The character of Sood (Neighbour) was just initially someone who was just a witness to all the troubles of Ojas's family. It was the 1st AD Sagar's idea to give him interesting objects like knives, ropes, rakes, etc. to give a sense of mystery to him.
Even though the story is set in Chandigarh, the majority of the scenes are shot in Patiala.
The Jagrata night was supposed to be shot in the colony that Ojas lived in. But it started raining the night it was scheduled to shoot the same, thus ruining the outdoor Jagrata set.
The shooting of the finale was delayed twice due to unprecedented rainfall in Patiala. There were cases of actors (crowd) homes being submerged in water due to the heavy rains.
To finish all the scenes in the mall that Tejas worked at; the team had to shoot for 19 hours straight at multiple locations inside and outside the mall.
