The film's ending was changed one week before it was due to shoot when a Producer brought to Len's attention the availability of another location that the director saw as "more visual bang for the audience's dollar". Also, the director refused to want to accept responsibility/liability for the "general public that would be walking near his set" during filming times.

during filming, director Kabasinski wore a necklace with dog tags. One dog tag read the verse from 1 Corinthians 13: 7 "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things". the second dog tag had printed on it the names of his children and wife, Jessica Kabasinski.
The opening shots introducing Jessica Kabasinski's character were filmed in about an hour.
The house Jessica Kabasinski lives in was Len Kabasinski's home at the time.
