Len Kabasinski dropped 15 pounds for his character of "Snake" to give the character a more "slender & ripped" look. He credited "Snake's look" to tons of grilled chicken, yogurt, wheat toast, tons of coffee and an ab program which he did 25 mins a day.
For the entire shoot, Kabasinski wore a necklace of his late Mother (Kim) and late Grandmother (Lois). When his character of "Snake" was on camera, he picked a crew member to wear the necklace for him.
Actress Donna Hamblin's character of "Rosie" in several scenes, wear's a "horn" necklace. The necklace was given to her from director Ted Mikels (Astro Zombies). Also, the busty, black top she wear's in a few scenes belonged to the late Tura Satana and was given to Hamblin for the shoot from Satana's daughter. In the the scene with "Snake" (Len Kabasinski) in the tattoo shop, guitar strings can be seen on Hamblin's arm, the strings belonged to her late father.
The pub used for "The Vipers" clubhouse, premiered Kabasinski's film Skull Forest and all proceeds from the premiere benefited the charity "Cody's wheels of hope" which donates bikes and wheeled toys to children with life-threatening illnesses.
The "prison scene" in the film was shot in Kabasinski's basement using a vertical sliding bar prop made by a family friend (the prop was approx 4 x 4). Kabasinski's 2-year old daughter Ariel stood by his side while he shot the scene.
