"Aparajito - The Undefeated" is an Indian Bengali-language biographical film written and directed by Anik Dutta. It was released on 13 May 2022. Set in the mid-1950s, "Aparajito - The Undefeated" is the film about a young filmmaker Aparajito Ray, his journey and hurdles faced during the making of his first full-length feature film, Pather Podaboli which is a popular Bengali eponymous novel written by Bibhutibhushan Mukhopadhyay. Considering the fact that the whole movie is shot in black and white, it brings such 60s-70s old vibes. The director has successfully dramatized the journey of Ray as well as shown expertise in documenting quite well. Talking about the acting part, Jeetu Kamal as in the role of Aparajito Ray did his best. He effortlessly adapted Ray's mannerisms and his appealing personality. Supratim Bhol has done a fantastic job with his camera in the film. These small perfections make a movie great. Definitely, it's worth watching.Â
