This film had (for some reason) been completed but kept on the shelf since 2009. In 2015, it finally came out in select theaters and VOD on 15th May.
The Las Vegas TV reporter George Knapp has an uncredited appearance in the beginning of the film. Knapp became known nationally in the late 1980s by reporting the story of Bob Lazar, who claimed to have worked on extraterrestrial UFOs at the secretive Area 51, S4 section.
The film will finally see the light-of day, on April 23, 2015 it was announced the film would be released on May 15, 2015 in theaters and through demand platforms.
The four main characters all use their actual first names, for example, Reid Warner plays as Reid in the movie and same goes for Jellena Nik as Jellena.
When the three friends make it to Las Vegas, they meet up with their contact at a diner/restaurant that is supposed to be in Vegas. If it looks familiar, it's because this restaurant is in dozens of movies, TV shows, and ads. Its real name is Dinah's Family Restaurant located at 6521 S. Sepulveda Blvd in Los Angeles. Monk, Next (Nicholas Cage), Pulp Fiction, Numb3rs, and many more have been filmed here.
