TRIVIA

Trivia

Kris Booth raised the money to make this film by putting a "Tip Jar" on his desk at work, and asking people coming through to put any pocket change they had into it. The first person put in 15 cents. At the end of the year, they had raised $42,000, enough to get the film produced. Telefilm Canada fronted the completion money once they had seen a cut of the film.

Shot in 15 days, with two insert days, for a total of 17 shooting days. From the first day of script writing, to the day the film premiered at the Vancouver Film Festival, the entire production took just two years.

On both of her dates, Romy watches a movie. The films they watch are Safe (2004) and No Man's Land (2000), both directed by Kris Booth

Had its UK premier at the Station Cinema (Richmond North Yorkshire) film festival in September 2010.
