Most notably the white house, which in the movie belonged to DMX's character Buns, was actually one of DMX's homes in Florida. FALSE: Hype Williams, in a 20yr reunion interview with COMPLEX said this was false. He said, "DMX wasn't even a star yet. He was living in Yonkers in the middle of nowhere."
The scene of Sincere (Nas) and the 12 year old boy on the park bench is a direct reference to the last verse from Nas' song "One Love", off his 1994 debut album Illmatic.
