TRIVIA

Trivia

The crew had to hatch sparrow eggs and raise them in preparation for the shooting, where eventually about 20 sparrows took part.

Both real sparrows and visual effects were used to depict the sparrows in the film.

One of the main reasons Pascale Ferran decided to cast Josh Charles was that she was particularly impressed with Charles' performance in In Treatment (2008).

Director Pascale Ferran has cited Bong Joon Ho's The Host (2006) and Haruki Murakami's novels as major inspiration for the film.

The film took 16 weeks of shooting and one year of editing.
