Black Cop: Imagine if I said to the autistic girl, "There is no excuse for all that frustration." Black Cop: I mean, imagine if I said to the mother, "There are better ways to grieve over your child." Black Cop: Imagine if I said to the Aboriginal woman, "What about the other girls that went missing?" Black Cop: Imagine if I said to the person who fell from the ladder, "That wouldn't have happened if you weren't up there, though." Black Cop: Imagine if I said to the long-term cancer patient, "You should read this information about cancer." Black Cop: Imagine if I said to the pregnant woman, "Oh, yeah, I know exactly how that feels. It's like when..." Black Cop: Imagine if I said to the soldier, "Don't shoot back," and, "Try and talk to him." Black Cop: Imagine if I said to the American, "What does 9/11 have to do with you?" Black Cop: Imagine if I said to the journalist's family, "He took the job knowing the risk." Black Cop: I mean, imagine if I said to the patient in E.R., "You're better than this." Black Cop: Imagine if I said to the child, "I expect better from you." Black Cop: Imagine if I said to the homeless person, "Well, if I were you..." Black Cop: Imagine if I said to the battered woman, "By talking about abuse, you are the abuser." Black Cop: Imagine if I said, "Yeah, but that happens to everyone."
