Matt Damon was originally set to star in the lead role, but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts with Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey'. Ben Affleck then stepped in to play the lead, in addition to directing.
This film marks a reunion for Ben Affleck and Steven Yeun, who previously worked together on the 2026 Netflix movie 'The Rip'.
