Bling Empire: New York takes you the mega city of New York where the super rich of the world live. The series attempts to give you an inside look into how these filthy rich of the city earn, spend, and splurge their money on things they didn't ever need. Much like other seasons of the reality TV show, this edition too is over-the-top and trashy in several ways. It shows lives of cringeworthy rich folk who cry over small things in their luxurious lives. Several critics think it is ridiculous and unnecessary, especially because it gloats over rich people who could have made a difference in the world but choose not to. It is largely unbearable and just tries to show the same antics over and over again throughout all the episodes. It feels very forced and highly scripted, making for a poor watch.
