Bob Clark in fact directed the film, including additional re-shoots in Los Angeles. Due to the fact that his Canadian citizenship had lapsed he was unable to receive director's credit. He was still fighting to get the credit when he was killed in a car accident.
During filming, police were called to a casino after Denise Richards caught two paparazzi taking her photo on a nearby balcony. She confronted them and threw their laptops over the balcony. Unluckily for her, there just happened to be two elderly women beneath. One of the women was 91 years old and the other was 80 years old and in a wheelchair. The women only suffered minor bumps and bruises and chose not to press charges.
Pamela Anderson and Denise Richards both play blondes in this movie, even though both are born natural brunettes.
