TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Paula Abdul was originally hired as the film's Executive Producer, Fashion Designer, and Dance Choreographer. During an episode of her reality television series Hey Paula (2007), she received an e-mail on her Blackberry firing her from this movie.

As Janel Parrish was an experienced singer, she was the only actress who actually sang when the opportunity arose. The rest were coached on lip-synching to prepare for their musical numbers.

Nathalia Ramos (Yasmine) was fifteen-years-old when this movie was filmed, and she had to go back and forth between schoolwork and shooting scenes. It was her debut acting.

When Skyler Shaye was auditioning for Cloe, there was a point where she accidentally knocked over a few things in the office during the audition. She was absolutely sure that she blew it and wouldn't get the role as a result. When she received a phone call to tell her the news however, she learned that her clumsiness actually helped her get the role, as Cloe in the film is supposed to be a klutz.

Skyler Shaye and Anneliese van der Pol were the only cast members who were not teenagers during production, the former being 21 and the latter being 23.

Popular Dialogues

"Yasmin: [to Dylan] Watch where you're going! Are you blind? Hello? [no audio] Dylan: No, but I'm deaf. Yasmin: What? Dylan: I'm deaf. Yasmin: You don't look deaf. Dylan: Yeah, well you don't look ignorant, but I guess you can't judge a book right?"

"Gamer Geek Clique Leader: Hey, ladies, have you seen my joystick?"
