Why should you watch Cartel?
The harsh reality of the grounds of Mumbai in the contemporary world is executed with precision and perfection. The reign of the evil in the world we live in is captured in all essence. The casting crew has put their best foot in front to churn out the best talents to justify the characters. Just like every other role Supriya Pathak has charmed her way through the role of Rani Mai as well. From Hitendra Joshi to Anil George they have fantastically maintained their poise in the roles they played. But the show is stolen by Rithvick Dhanjani who spectacularly showed the range and depth of his acting skills by portraying the role of Abhay Angre.
Besides the casting, the screenplay and editing surely deserve a round of applause. Not a scene goes by which looks unnecessary. Prashant Bhagia, the director has given his all in this series. The anger, the love, the greed, the revenge everything is well put together by the director and technical team. The hard work put in by every crew member shows as a result.
The makeup and costumes are also very praiseworthy. The teams have grabbed the characters in their true essence. The subtleness of the makeup did not feel made up while the costumes are relatable to the roles. The background score is subdued which actually maintained the theme of the series. All in all the entertaining thriller is a must-watch series if you like to get a hint of the underworld once in a while.
