Conceptually, Balki and his writing staff have a brand-new story that centres on the life of film critics, a profession that hasn't been fully explored in Hindi film. Brilliantly, he spends the first half creating the plot and heightening the mystery. To the point where the improbable romance between a lonely florist named Danny and a budding entertainment reporter named Nila doesn't seem like much of a diversion. However, as the second half progresses, it becomes more difficult to care about Danny and Nila's tepid love story. Even though the screenplay makes an effort to keep everything relevant to the central theme of the violent killings, the story eventually becomes tedious. Dulquer Salmaan gives it his all as the romantic and reclusive role. The actor struggles to balance his complex character, but he does a good job of it overall. Although Shreya Dhanwanthary makes a cute couple, she doesn't have much room to express herself in her work as a journalist. Sunny Deol returns with a bang.
