The docuseries titled Cinema Marte Dum Tak is an unfiltered, raw take on the lives of four filmmakers who made dirty movies for a period of 10 years starting from the mid-90s. The series showcases the smart satire of the politics that followed the creation of such movies and how these films were condemned in public but were needed in secret to gain profits. These filmmakers have been celebrated silently but have never received true recognition or even acknowledgment for their work. The industry they themselves created isn't bothered to appreciate them. The series depicts real emotions and themes of vulnerability, pain, misogyny, patriarchy etc. J Neelam, Vinod Talwar, Kishan Shah etc., have done an amazing job and have definitely added to the charm of the series. The script is also well-written and the series is a unique take on the hidden realities of the film industry in general. It should definitely be watched.
