The college shown in the film is Saffire college of Mumbai also known as Sofia College.
James Albert who wrote the original film in Mlayalam is also credited as a writer for this film.
It was rumored that the film was sequel to earlier Marathi blockbuster Dunyadaari 2013 but apart from few scene's the film had a complete fresh plot.
The film turned out to be a big hit.
