Joe (Dolph Lundgren)'s rock band name in the movie was "Thor's Hammer" initially. It was changed to "C.M.F." (Cheap Mother Fucker) after it was suggested to Lundgren by his assistant during pre-production.
Eric Roberts was initially cast to play the part of Oleg Kazov but had to be replaced shortly before filming.
The teaser trailer, which was shot as a stand-alone a few days before filming, was inspired by Dolph Lundgren's career specialist Jérémie Damoiseau, who also produced the thorough official website for the film.
